Data not working abroad

Why does my 48 Mobile not work when I am abroad? I was recently in Spain and could not use the data. I got a new Sim card from 48 mobile because had problem before. And the new SIM card is the same does not work when I am in other European countries had to buy a local SIM card when I was in Spain.

When abroad...

Do you get a connection to a local creeper network - i.e. signal bars? 

Do calls and texts work? 

What are your APN settings?

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems when trying to use roaming services for some reason and nobody from 48 has ever explained why or provided a guaranteed fix.

As such, the usual generic advice for roaming issues applies...
