Charged for NI call dialled using 048 prefix - why?

Why was I charged from making an 048 called to Northern Ireland when it's included in the package I have did so before and no credit was taken

Was it a mobile number by any chance?

Only calls to NI landlines dialled using the 048 prefix are treated as Irish national calls and covered by membership plan call allowances.

If it was a landline number dialled using the 048 prefix and it was charged to the cash credit on your account then you should contact 48 support for an explanation/rectification.
