Can't make/receive calls - will replacement SIM help?

My plan lapsed as I had lost my phone found it now and purchased a new plan but can make calls out or receive calls … just ordered a replacement sim Will this work?

I presume you meant "can't"?

When did you last buy a membership plan before the current one? 

If it was 6+ months ago then your account is probably suspended and you'll need to contact 48 support to get it working again. 

Can you log into your My48 account?

Does it display any error messages? 

What does it say about your current membership status? 

Does your phone have a connection to the 48 network - i.e. signal bars? 

If not then if you do a manual search for networks can you see and connect to 48?

What happens when you try to make a call? 

Any error messages? 

When you ordered the replacement SIM did you choose the "block" option? 

If you did then that could explain why your current SIM is no longer working.
