Hi

My sim card has been deactivated, my SIM number and email replaced without my knowledge. I can login to my account with my password. I think somehow 48 database hacked. I ordered a new SIM card.

You'll have to contact 48 support about this.

If 48 were hacked then I believe that they would have to report such an incident to the data protection commissioner and I'm not aware of anything like that happening recently.

It might be more likely that your own device(s) got hacked or your credentials were compromised in some other way.

If the email address was replaced then how did you manage to log in? How did you know the new email address to use?

You should change your password as a matter of urgency.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.
