Resolved! Sim locked

I joined 48 on tuesday and today is saturday and I restarted my iPhone and it said the sim was locked and I had to enter my pin again but I hav restarted my phone multiple times since I got 48 is it normal for it to look for the pin?

Cutting the SIM card

My daughter got a new 5s iPhone and the old sim didn't fit- she unfortunately cut it too small and so it doesn't fit? We can other smother but do they come in different sizes? Do we need to cut again? I guess it will need to be reactivated thereafter...
