Why hasn't my number ported over after 24 hours?

I activated my sim yesterday evening and it has been a full 24 hours and my number hasn’t been moved yet. I’m unable to contact customer care because there no message icon. I just want to know what the problem is?

The chat option hasn't worked for me either for a long time.
