Trying to activate SIM but says it's already activated

Hi, I’m looking to activate my SIM card. I put in the 6 digit activation code but it says it is already active although I only opened the package with the SIM card just now, what can I do now ?

Does it work if you put it in the phone?

If it does then what's the problem?
