Is it a Samsung Galaxy phone by any chance?
This seems to happen with them on 48 (and maybe other virtual operators) for some reason.
Do things work otherwise?
Calls, texts, data?
There's at least one recent long thread with many posts by others experiencing this in case that's of any use to you.
