One time activation charge

Dear All,

 

I have recently ported my number from vodafone to 48. I wish to recharge for 12.99 but while I am rechargine, it is asking one time activation charge which is again 12.99 so total is 25.98. My query is that is it necessary the one time activation charge?

I think that 48 introduced the one time activation charge recently alright. But it's very difficult to find mention of it on the website...

 

If you use a referral SIM then the free bonus credit will cancel it out.
