No Signal After Number Port from Vodafone

MananB4494

Hello,
I recently ported my number from Vodafone to 48. My SIM shows that it is activated, but I still have no signal on my iPhone 17 Pro (Indian version).
Could you please check if my number porting is completed or if there is any issue with my SIM activation?
Thank you.

Are you sure that your phone is unlocked for use on any network and also compatible with Irish frequencies?

What happens if you do a manual search for networks?

Can you see and connect to 48?

If not then what happens?

Any error messages?

In some cases iPhones need to be activated on a new network and this involves the iPhone silently sending a text message to a UK activation server.

This will fail silently if you don't have cash credit on your account to pay for the UK/international SMS.

So maybe put €1 cash credit on your account, switch the phone off and on again, wait a little while, and see if that helps.

You can check what phone number is associated with your account via your My48 account:
