I'm trying to switch to 48. they said it would take a few hours, then said that it would take 24 hours. but they have an incorrect mobile number for me, some random 089 number.
Where can I go to speak to an actual 48 representative to sort this out

The 089 number is presumably the default new number that comes with your SIM until you port your main number over if applicable.
Did you follow the number porting instructions without any issues/errors?
Did you receive the number porting security code by text message to your old number with your old provider's SIM installed and working in your phone?
Are you sure that you entered the correct number and account details into the porting request form?
Did you receive any text or email messages about the porting request?
