Eir to 48 - when do I install 48 SIM in phone?

Hi folks I am changing network today from eir to 48 I still have eir SIM card in my phone at what stage do I put in new SIM card

If you're porting your number from Eir to 48 then you need to keep the Eir SIM installed until you receive the porting security code text message to your Eir number.

Otherwise you just activate the 48 SIM and then install it in your phone.

And then buy a membership plan so that you can use services.
