less than impressed, very much underwhelmed with coverage

Hi folks

I'm in the process of moving from Eir to 48 but am thinking of going back to Eir. 48 say that they are going to give me one gig of free data so that I can test out the service. I transferred my number yesterday and have been let down with no mobile data at least five times in that time. I'm particularly cross because I'm missing messages from my daughter who is currently travelling from Scotland to be home for Christmas. The boat is delayed and I'm only getting messages because I'm back in wi-fe land. 

Not impressed at all.

Rant over - is there anyone out there to tell me that I should give them a second chance?

Where are you located? 

Do you know anyone else in your area on 48?

If so then are they having the same issues? 

Are your APN settings configured correctly? 

When mobile data isn't working for you what exactly happens? 

Does the phone lose the connection to the 48 network altogether - i.e. no signal bars? 

Or does it maintain the connection but the mobile data connection is slow or broken?

Have you contacted 48 support for assistance with your issues?
