Tried topping up the current plan, and after putting the card details, it showed“ somethings gone wrong come back later” so I tried again and again same answer three times. Then it went through . Just checked bank I got charged 3 times. Still the mobile data is not working.

Perhaps, in spite of the errors, you inadvertently bought three membership plans and they are all on your account now?
What does your Transactions page say about recent payments?
What does your My48 account Dashboard say about your current membership status, allowance balances and expiry date?
Does your Buy Plan page list any upcoming membership plans?
Are calls and texts working?
Did mobile data ever work for you before?
If not then you'll probably need to configure your APN settings first.
Send a text (contents doesn't matter) to 50048 and follow the instructions:
