My phone says no sim, iv tried a few things to get it to work but iv had no luck. Happened randomly today iv been with 48 for the past 4 years

When was it working ok last?
Did anything change in the meantime?
E.g. software update, settings changes, factory reset/restore, new handset, etc.?
What make and model of phone is it?
Is "No SIM" the full verbatim error message?
Can you try your SIM in another unlocked phone to see if it works there?
You might want to try ordering a replacement SIM in case your current SIM is somehow faulty.
