Roaming didn't work in UK - what to do for next trip?

Hi there. I was recently in the UK with my wife. We both use 48 and Motorola phones....She was connected to roaming but I couldn't connect even though I had roaming switched on.... I'll be in the UK again in February and will need Satnav so I'm panicking a wee bit about it.
Can you help?
P.S. I have the €12:99 plan and my wife has the €10 plan.

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems when trying to use roaming services for some reason and nobody from 48 has ever explained why or provided a guaranteed fix.

As such, the usual generic advice for roaming issues applies...

If your SIM predates January 2023 then maybe get a replacement in case it helps with roaming issues:
