Hi, I need help with my SIM card.
While roaming in the UK on my 48 plan, I was unable to use hotspot. After returning to Ireland, my SIM stopped working completely from flight mode it didnt enable back the bars once I came back. I now have: No bars/signal showing on my iPhone its like I have no line in cant call or connect to internet while at the airport up to now.
Tested SIM in another phone → same issue (no service / satellite disabled).
While at the airport I tried to :
Resetting network settings.
Manually reselecting networks.
Re-inserting SIM and multiple restarts.
APN tried reseting this stuff too nothing.
Now the SIM will not connect to any network at all in Ireland.
This is the second time this issue happens when im roaming in the uk. Very inconvieniceing since my trips I use internet based routes and planning .
also atm i have no SIM to contact on

See here - the section titled "Returned Home?":
If that doesn't help then you'll probably have to contact 48 support for further assistance.
See the links in my signature below.
For issues while roaming abroad the usual general advice applies...
Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.
(On the other hand all the people who have no problems don't post to report their positive experiences!)
If your SIM predates January 2023 then a replacement may mitigate or eliminate roaming problems:
It may be worthwhile reviewing these two threads in case any of the suggestions help to avoid roaming problems:
If calls and texts work but mobile data doesn't then double check that your APN settings are still configured correctly:
If you have returned to Ireland from roaming abroad and are having problems using the 48 network/calls/texts/mobile data then see this key post, in particular the section titled "Returned Home?":
If you still have problems then you'll probably need to contact 48 support for further assistance.
See the links in my signature below for the three different ways to contact 48 support.
