Hi there,
I just joined 48 and all I am getting in LTE on a 5g phone and I have 5g enabled.
Any ideas?

Do you have a €12.99 membership plan?
That's the only one that supports 5G.
Are you getting 4G/LTE connectivity or no mobile data at all?
Are your APN settings configured correctly?

Hi there,
Yes I am on the 12.99 plan. I'm currently getting LTE but maybe it's a coverage issue but I doubt it somehow. I was getting 5g with Eir.
What exactly does the APN settings do? I had a look at it yesterday, does it enable 5g?

APN settings enable access to mobile data.
If you use the instructions that I posted to configure them then you should get 5G connectivity on a 5G enabled phone on the €12.99 plan.
If you don't then check that the phone settings aren't restricting connectivity to 4G/LTE.
Are you sure that you're not getting 5G speeds even if the phone is showing 4G/LTE?
If you still can't get it working then you'll probably have to contact 48 support for further assistance.
