I have a Nokia phone with android 11 on it. I have dns setup on my phone using opendns which blocks port sites on my phone .

But my main problem is that I hot spot the phone to my teenage son and it let's him access port from his laptop via the hot spot.

Anyone know how to block this ?

This is probably something that you need to ask OpenDNS support about.

Is your son, by any chance, using a VPN to get around the blocking of certain sites? E.g. like this:

I contacted opendns about this and this is their reply

my son's phone and laptop have no Internet except connecting to my phones hotspot but the dns settings let's the hotspot users access porn sites

This is as expected. Please contact your mobile carrier to see if they offer a way to enable content filtering on your data plan.

They don't offer  much solution.

I'm pretty sure that 48 don't do any content filtering.

But you should contact 48 support and ask them to confirm/clarify.

See the link in my signature below.

I would have expected a service such as OpenDNS that offers content blocking to be able to help with your situation.

I don't really see how it's a mobile carrier issue to be honest.

Are you paying for the service?

If so I would expect a better service than that.
