When I'm in Ireland my mobile data does not work when I have the 48 APN settings. It does work when I use the Tesco Mobile APN settings. How can this be?

What do you mean by the Tesco APN settings?
How exactly do they differ from the 48 settings here?
Some phones misidentify Mobile Virtual Network Operators such as 48 or Lycamobile etc. as something else such as Tesco but everything works ok otherwise.
Maybe that's the case here?
