An APN (Access Point Name) is a list of settings that allows your handset to connect to your network’s internet. As part of our ongoing commitment to improve our network experience, 48 are making some changes to our data settings that will take effect on the 19th of November.
We will be contacting customers who we’ve identified that are using legacy data APN settings. These customers will need to edit their device APN settings before the 19th of November to remain connected to our data services.
If these settings aren’t updated before 19th November 2023, it will result in a loss of data until the correct settings are inputted to their device.
Please see below for instructions as you will need to manually review and update your APN settings and remain connected to Data.

A - Recent Android Devices with 1 APN Field
Ensure your APN settings are entered like for like as outlined below. As any typos, additional spaces or incorrect entries will result in no data connection or issues with sending MMS.
