To order your free 48 SIM, visit the Order SIM section on 48.ie or order through your My48 app (available on Android and IOS), in hurry then just tap here.

Just a Head UpsWhile waiting for your SIM to arrive, it's a good idea to check if your phone is unlocked. We have a helpful Unlock Guide available with more details, but in summary, if your phone is locked to your current network, it won’t accept your 48 SIM, and you won’t be able to use our services.

We want to get you up and running with your 48 services as quickly as possible. If you're unsure whether your phone is locked or unlocked, try inserting a SIM from another network. If you're prompted for a network unlock key, this means your device is locked, and you'll need an unlock code from the provider you purchased your phone from. Alternatively, you can contact your current provider, who can confirm your phone's unlock status and, if needed, provide you with the unlock code.

How do I know what SIM to Order?

Our SIMs are “Trio SIMs so this means it's a 'normal' SIM, a micro SIM and a Nano SIM all in one which means it will fit into any type of phone. The edges are perforated so you can pop out the size that you need, happy days!

When can I expect my SIM to arrive?

We use An Post, so your SIM will be delivered within 3-6 working days—weekends & Bank holidays not included! 😊

Can I track my SIM delivery?

You don’t need to worry – we’ll handle everything for you! You’ll receive an email to your registered email address once your order is placed, and another when your SIM is on route to you.

I haven’t received my SIM.

If it has been over 6 days since you've ordered your SIM (not counting the weekends & Bank holidays) then its looks like somethings gone astray. We’re sorry about that!

To get you back on track, place a new order here and, as a precaution, double-check that you're entering your complete address

Next Steps...

Once your SIM arrives, you'll need to activate it to start receiving service. Simply visit the "Activate your SIM" page here or use the My4 app

If you need some guidance or just fancy some extra reading material then check out our guide on how to activate your SIM here.
