My text messages are being sent from my email rather than my phone number- how do I rectify this please?

You seem to be using an iPhone?
If so then this is probably an iMessage issue.
Maybe something like this will help?

Unfortunately yet another unnecessary complication that arises because of the way that Apple do things...
