Phone sees the network, but no bars

Hi there,

 

I just changed my mobile phone, and ever since I did I see the name of the network in the left top corner but I have no bars for reception, can't make calls, etc.

 

Any ideas how to sort this out?

What make and model of phone is the new one?

Any other messages on screen about connectivity?

Is roaming and data roaming enabled?

What happens if you do a manual search for networks and manually select 48 4G?
