I entered my activation code to change over to the new SIMSIMad it's now saying no service and I cant make calls

You mean you're just joining 48 or you're trying to activate a *replacement* SIM?
Either way probably best to contact 48 support (now before they finish for the evening) and they should be able to sort this out for you.
