I'm not getting any service, it came back for a while and went again.
I really need this sorted asap as waiting on important call

Did anything change on your phone recently?
E.g. software update, settings charges, returning from roaming abroad?
What make and model of phone?
What do you see if you do a manual search for networks?
Can you see and connect to 48?
