My sim work in my new phone

My sim card, won't work in my new phone.Can someone advise,what to do thank you.

You mean that it was working fine in your old phone? 

What happens when you put the SIM in the new phone?

Any error messages?

Is the new phone unlocked for use on any network?

What make and model of phone is it? 

When did you originally get your SIM?

Maybe there's a possibility that your SIM is an older class B/3 volt SIM but your phone needs a newer class C/1.8 volt SIM?

Thank you ,I have ordered a new Sim , hopefully that will work in my new phone .

You didn't address any of the questions that I asked in an attempt to clarify the situation. 

E.g.. If the phone isn't unlocked then a replacement SIM is not going to help.
