Lost phone - can it be tracked via SIM?

Hi, I have lost my phone and it appears to be switched off. Is there anyway of tracking my phone through the sim card?

If the phone is switched off then the SIM will also have no power so there's nothing to track. 

You'll probably need to contact 48 support to ask them if tracking via the SIM is possible should the phone be powered back on.
