I'm trying to activate my pin code for my new Credit Union card. They sent me a 5 digit number to text, but when I text the number I get an error saying "can't send message with 48 error 332". I'm not having any problems texting any other numbers.
I checked the SMSC in my phone settings and it's correct. I'm using a Pixel 7, Android version 14.

48 doesn't allow texts to be sent to premium SMS 5xxxx numbers other than 50048 for APN settings.
Maybe ask your Credit Union if there's another way to activate your card?
