What do you mean by "My daughter’s phone is saying carrier for her network"?
That doesn't sound like a meaningful error message.
What is the exact error message?
When was everything working ok on this phone before?
Did anything change since then?
E.g. phone software update, settings changes, factory reset/restore, new phone handset, etc.?
Is the phone unlocked for use on any network?
What happens if you do a manual search for networks?
Can you see and connect to 48?
What make and model of phone is it?
