Hi, I may just b being thick, but my number doesn't seem to have changed... I entered the security stuff but when it said I was registered that my number was 089...

What information (other than what you posted)
Is on your my 48 page... Example, Do you see 'Transfer in Progress' in a banner there?
If you don't... it could be the case that your attempt to list your details for a porting request never went through.
Can you try the process again? Will it allow you?
If it does not allow another port request, time to contact 48 Support.
