I got a new phone for christmas, signed up for guido plan, all internet settings are correct, my phone will connect to 2G, when I switch to 3G my phone loses signal9coverage) and when I switch back to 2G everything is fine again. I'm not sure whether it is a problem on 48's side or my phone

Yes, it would seem you are affected also...

Unfortunately-we don't have any info to offer here.. except 48 have said to others (of whom logged support requests) that - the 48 Network itself has no Technical issues...

It's odd because it is a problem that is affecting all kinds of device's... droid or not...

I have multiple pal's on 48 around me, and all is as normal so...it's strange.

No doubt, we will find an answer soon.

🙂

hopefully I have a double free class tomorrow and I planned on browsing reddit for the whole thing :L

Just quickly going back to your original problem. My android rom (CyanogenMod 10.1) has the same network mode button but there is a third option. 2G, 3G and 2G3G. So I think you are selecting 3G only, where there is probably non in your area hense no service showing. Is there a third option or is it just 2G or 3G in your network mode.

My toggles are the same as yours.

I tried connecting to 3g in sligo(town) on friday and still lost signal
