Does 48 work in China?

I'm going to shanghai for 2 weeks and I'm wondering does 48 work there?

No. 48 only support roaming in Europe, North America and Oceania.

In any case many networks in China use frequencies not supported by phones sold in this part of the world - TD-SCDMA versus WCDMA etc.
