Coverage in NI

Will I still have coverage whilst travelling thro Northern Ireland or do I need an add on for roaming?

Assuming that you will not always be close enough to the border to pick up the 26 counties O2/48 networks....

In NI you will be roaming abroad. In which case you will need cash credit or EU roaming add-ons to cover incoming and outgoing calls and outgoing texts.

You will not have data access while roaming in NI.
