I tried to make a call this morning and it told me I had no data
I just changed my card on the phone would this make a difference

What exacty do you mean by "I just changed my card on the phone".
What card are you referring to?
This is also confusing because phone calls do not require data:

Are you trying to make a regular phone call or are you using something like WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom etc.?
Have you just joined 48?
If not then when did all services - calls/texts/data - work OK for you?
Did the call that you made connect OK?
What does your My48 account Dashboard say about your current membership plan status, allowance balances and expiry date?
