My porting sim is not working

Hi,

Yesterday i activated my 48 mobile sim with old number, and i havd bought new plan. But since it is not working any calls and texts.

If you want assistance from the Community Forum then you'll need to provide a bit more information than that.

Is your phone unlocked for use on any network?

Do you have a connection to the 48 network - i.e. signal bars? 

If not then what happens if you do a manual search for networks?

Can you see and connect to 48 or do you get any errors?

Is the correct phone number listed on your My48 account?

Are you sure that you have an active membership plan listed on your My48 account dashboard?

What happens when you try to make a call? 

Any error messages? 

Can you receive calls and texts and use mobile data?

Am getting no signal when I do make calls, and when i check mobile data it is showing roaming.

You didn't address all of the questions that I asked here:

If you have no signal/connection to the 48 network/signal bars then nothing else is going to work and that's the first issue that needs to be understood and resolved: 

  • Am getting no signal

If you can't provide additional information needed to clarify your issue then you'll need to contact 48 support for assistance.
