Did you mean:

Disingenuous subscription increase

I recently received the notice that my account is being moved from a monthly billing cycle to a 4 weekly cycle.

The link with more info in it results in a 404 error:
https://48.ie/legal/reg14_may2023

The sneaky bit is that you are going from a 12 / year billing to 13 / year (52 weeks / 4 = 13)
That means if you were on eg 12.99 * 12 = 155.88 vs 12 *13 =168.87 or  8.33% increase.

So if you move me and you stay true to your claim of same fee for life then there should be a 8.33% decrease.

I would rather that 48 rather be transparent about it and I would prefer to stay on a monthly cycle, how do I do that?

Yes - it applies to all users although some received the email before others for some reason.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

Saw this in the news yeterday and posted in another thread here:

Here's hoping that the regulator ComReg will see this for what it is, a blatant disregard for the promise 48 made in all it's launch publicity, that subscriptions would remain at signup level for life.

How can you maintain respect for a company that is 100% two faced, and has no shame or integrity.

ComReg please hold them to their launch promise.

That link seems to be working again today.
