Can't port number from 48 to new provider

Hello . I have a problem , I m a client for 2 years now and i m trying to move my number to a different phone company and they told me the number cant be transferred, please let me know what should I do to keep this number on the new company. Thanks

Why did they say that it can't be moved? 

Are you sure that you choose the correct account type?

Most likely registered prepaid and not bill pay etc.?

You probably need to ask the new provider why there's a problem.
