Trying to port number - "can't connect to server"

Im trying to move my number to my old number but it keeps saying can’t connect to server try again later anyone know how to fix it

Are you following the instructions here? 

Can you try on a different device and/or network connection to see if the problem persists? 

If you keep getting the error then you'll probably just have to wait and try again later as it suggests.
