No SMS

Just joined 48 and can receive but not send SMS. Data is fine. Top of screen says 'emergency calls only' but I actually can make calls as normal.
Team thought I might have been blocked for trying to send too many SMS in a row (I was messaging 48 to get set up & myself to test the system), but I've now been unblocked & still can't send them.
Have configured both a data APN and an SMS APN. Wonder is the problem that I still have my old eir SIM in my phone - might be confusing my phone somehow, even though I've switched to 48 for everything including SMS in settings.
Meanwhile in Messages settings I've asked it to make RCS, not SMS, the default like it used to be before I switched to 48 - but despite that being toggled on, messaging won't switch back to RCS.

I don't think that 48 supports RCS but I could be wrong? 

Why don't you take your Eir SIM out and see if that works ok? 

You'll probably need to persist with 48 support on this issue.
