Need update on SIM activation & number porting status

Hi there I’ve been waiting on a text to tell me when my new sim is active as I commenced the change over yesterday. When I logged in to see if there was any updates I see a different phone number even though I selected the option to retain my old phone number and keyed it in. Can I have an update as to where we are at please .
