Just tried looking for help to activate my sim. Sent me to a site looking for my card details

Who/what sent you to a scam site?

I very much doubt that 48 are sending you to a scam site. 

How did you get the link? 

If you're just starting with 48 then you should probably read the FAQs:

When you go to buy a membership plan then obviously the 48 site will need your card details for payment.

Maybe you're mistaking the membership purchase page for a scam site?
