If you mean that you ordered a 48 SIM online and are waiting on that to be delivered to you in the post then this would not have affected your existing service with your current mobile provider.
The number porting process will only kick in after you receive and activate the 48 SIM.
If your mobile service with your current provider isn't working properly then that has nothing to do with 48 and the fact that you ordered a new 48 SIM.
You should contact your current mobile provider about such problems.
