How long does porting take?

Hello, can someone help please...

I tried to change my sim to a new 48 SIM today and 48 said it'll take 2/3hrs until my old number has ported over, then just swap out sim cards... but it's been 5 hrs now and nothing.
When I click onto 48 account, still says, awaiting porting?

Does anyone know how long this will actually take?
I moved from Vodaphone to 48

Note the point about porting office hours.

If the port doesn't take effect after a few hours tomorrow you may need to contact 48 support.
