Can't send text messages

I have recently ported my phone over rto 48. I can receive texts messages, but I can't send them.

What happens when you try to send a text?

Any error messages?

Can you receive and make phone calls and use mobile data? 

Do you have an active membership plan?

You need one to be able to make calls, send texts and use mobile data (other than the free Introductory 1GB of 4G data).

What make and model of phone are you using? 

If it's an iPhone then there can be additional issues due to the stupid way that Apple does things.

I just get an error saying can't send messages and to check settings.

I have a plan which is 12.99. I have checked the settings.
I have android phone -samsung s23. I can receive texts, use internet etc.

Can you make calls? 

Is your SMSC number correct?

I presume it is if you can receive texts.
