Calling overseas number & accessing data abroad

I recently joined 48, kept my number. All works ok for Phoebe and data in ROI apart from making calls to UK numbers. I also can't access data when I'm in Northern Ireland. Can anyone advise? Cheers.

To make international calls you need an active membership plan and also cash credit on your account to pay for the calls.

Regarding roaming...

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems when trying to use roaming services for some reason and nobody from 48 has ever explained why or provided a guaranteed fix.

As such, the usual generic advice for roaming issues applies...

If your SIM predates January 2023 then maybe get a replacement in case it helps with roaming issues:
