Softify not working

Softify is not working on my One plus 3T. I get message no Internet connection in Softify app. There is no issue using Netflix, YouTube or Prime Video. Also if I use a Lycamobile sim in same phone, the Softify app works. I think it's some APN setting for 48. Pl. help. Thanks

Never heard of Softify - what is it?

There seem to be multiple sites with that name so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

https://softify.com/en/

http://softifytech.com/

https://www.softify.co/

http://softifytec.com/

If all apps other than this work on carrier data then there's nothing wrong with your internet/APN settings.

Double check them here just in case:

Other than that I can't imagine why one app would be reporting a network connection error when others work but maybe the site in question has a support/FAQ link that might help?

Hope this helps.

Sorry I meant Spotify is not working. Softify is a typo or autocorrect and apologies for that?
So Spotify the music app is not working, and other apps like Netflix have no issue. The Spotify app works with WiFi or a Lycamobile sim.

These are just forums, and tbh I have tried them. If Spotify is working for other 48 users, 48 customer care should be able test what's wrong with my particular msisdn.

Yes they are links to the Spotify support forum but I assumed that they might be useful since you never made it clear that you had already checked that forum.

Since nobody else has complained recently about Spotify not working on 48 the chances are that your problem is down to something on your specific phone and not the network.

But if you want 48 support to check things for you then you'll have to contact them and ask them to do this.

Your reference to MSISDN doesn't really make sense in this context.

Hope this helps.

I found the solution, don't know why it's 48 sim specific. I had to go to Settings - Data usage control - Spotify - Data usage - enable WiFi, enable data. These settings are enabled by default with Lycamobile or Gomo sims.

That fix is described in the Spotify forum that I posted links to earlier...
