My Internet is not working

im having trouble with my internet when im out.  it works fine when i leave home in the mornings but when i go somewhere and connect to the wifi, i find to have no internet after i disconnect from it. it usually comes back when im not in the area for example when im 10km or so away from the location i was in. whats this being caused by and can it be fixed? thanks

Make sure that your internet settings are configured correctly:

If they are and you still have problems then you'll probably have to contact 48 support for more assistance - option 3 or the chat option here:

To be honest I find 48 internet connectivity pretty hit and miss around Dublin unfortunately.

E.g. streaming music while on the move it often drops out, sometimes for extended periods of time... Man Mad

My data is not working for last 3 days 😡

Are calls and texts working?

Do you have any data allowance left?

Are your internet settings still correct?

Yes I have data left and have reset network settings yesterday and today, Turned phone on and off several times No change

You didn't answer my question about calls and texts.

Calls and texts returned yesterday after the outage on Tuesday. There’s no 3g symbol just signal bar 48

Delete any APNs that you have configured and follow the instructions that I linked to above to configure your internet settings from scratch.

Thise instructions work for all phones.

If it still doesn't work then double check because you have most likely not followed the instructions correctly.

Oh - and make sure to switch off and on again after reconfiguring.
