Internet is terrible

Not sure how long this is happening, I was away visiting and using WiFi for past few weeks but since I arrived home to Galway a few days ago my data is awful (also terrible on my dongle which is with three.... Wondering if there's a pattern here?).

Results of speed test (all on the phone using 48 data)last April:
Ping 74 ms. DL 8.78 Mbps. UL. 1.36 Mbps

Last few days from home and various locations in the town:

Ping 99. DL 0.88. UL 0.05 (home)
2774. 0.02. 0.04. (Home late last night)
109. 0.59. 0.08
99. 0.88. 0.05

Have you tried switching off and on again, manually searching for networks and manually connecting to 48 in case that makes any difference?
Are you sure that 2G only is not enabled?
You might need to contact 48 support for more assistance.

Sure did, just tried speed test again on 2g (out of interest) 238, DL 0.01, UL 0.03 access 3g again 91, 2.14, 0.03, slightly surprised at DL reported as browsing is still scarily slow.
