What is the exact error message?
Is it "can't find server", "no server available", "cannot connect to server", or something else?
Are your APN settings configured correctly and your mobile data working for web browsing and other connected apps?
If that is the case and it's just Google Maps that is having problems then it's probably an issue specific with Google.
Although there's nothing reported here:
So it may be some issue with your local phone configuration?
Maybe see if something like Waze works instead?
